Summary of job description:
•Providing personal care to service users
•Compliance with the care home and agency policy and procedures
• Maintaining service users' confidentiality and respecting the rights of service users
•Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet
•Utilising equipment to move service users when necessary
•Helping tidy the service users' home or room
•Assist with meal preparation
•Administering medication
•Taking the service users' vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
•Providing companionship and/or live-in care
•Assisting nurses and other staff when needed
•Adhering to professional standards
